Privacy Policy

A-Nett established the following Privacy Policy to demonstrate the Commitment we have for our Clients, Customers, and the Users accessing our Servers; hereinto known as The Client. This privacy policy governs the manner in which A-Nett uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from The Client accessing our services.

I. Privacy

A-Nett is committed to developing long lasting relationships based on trust. In order to establish this goal, A-Nett will do anything in its power to ensure that your right to privacy is maintained and protected. The services A-Nett offers are not directed towards, or offered to, children under thirteen (13) years of age. Any child interested in utilizing A-Nett Services must have a parent or guardian as a Point-Of-Contact used for the account.

II. Information We Collect

A-Nett may request and collect personal information from it's clients in a variety of ways. Such ways might include online forms for ordering, provisions of services, and other instances where such information may be needed.

The information collected is personal information that identifies the client. It includes:

    *      Name
    *      E-mail Address
    *      Physical Address
    *      Phone Number
    *      Account Information
    *      Payment Information

We utilize Third Party Vendors such as PayPal, 2CheckOut, and Google Checkout to handle online transactions. This allows A-Nett to accept Credit Card and e-Check payments in real-time, allowing The Client to obtain services with less delay. Additionally, A-Nett accepts Money Orders and Cashiers Checks for payment through the address and information provided on the Orders page. Please note: A-Nett utilizes Third Party Vendors for online processing. Such vendors have their own Privacy Policies. Users are expected to review and adhere to the Terms and Conditions, Acceptable Use, and Privacy Policies of the Third Party Vendors as well as the Policies in place for A-Nett.

A-Nett also collects information on the methods The Client uses to access the various services being offered. This includes, but is not limited to, accessing the websites, control panels, e-mail servers, and other services. A-Nett monitors such information through the various logs generated by accessing such systems.

III. Log Files

Like most websites, A-Nett uses Log Files. The information stored within these Log Files include the IP (Internet Protocol) address, browser type, referring/exit pages, Operating System, Timestamp (Date and Time of visit), and number of clicks. This information is used for trend analysis, user tracking, demographic information, and administrative purposes. However, none of the information stored in these Log Files is linked directed to personally identifiable information.

Effective June 3rd, 2012, A-Nett has implimented a Notification System for all of our Shell Clients. This notification system is designed to maintain the security of the Client account by optionally e-mailing the client (at a specified e-mail address) login details at each SSH login. This includes, but is not limited to:

    *      Time
    *      Date
    *      IP/Hostname Logging In
    *      Previous 5 Logins
    *      Limit Warnings
    *      Processes Listing
    *      History Notifications

Clients may, at their own discretion, enable and disable the automatic notification to their e-mail by typing "Notify" in their SSH Client and following the prompts. For security reasons, the information listed above is retained indefinately.

IV. How We Use This Information

A-Nett might use the personally identifiable information collected by A-Nett to contact customers regarding products, services, and specials offered by A-Nett. We may also use this information for research purposes, regarding the effectiveness of our website services, marketing, advertising, and sales efforts. A-Nett will not, in any way, share this information with a third party, either for free or by selling it, unless the customer specifically authorizes such disclosers, unless related to fraud, illegal actions by the user, or by being served with a warrant for said information. Please note: Clients entering into this agreement with Fraudulent inforamtion wave all rights as outlined in the A-Nett policies.

V. Disclosure Of Information

A-Nett may also disclose aggregate, anonymous data based on information collected from users to potential customers. In such cases, only statistical information will be disclosed, and personally identifiable data will be kept strictly confidential. In case A-Nett is sold, the information collected from The Client may be transferred to the new owner(s). If such is the case, The Client will be notified prior to such transfer.

VI. Special Offers And Updates

A-Nett customers and users will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and updates from A-Nett's Sales, Service, and/or Billing Departments. These messages are not sent in a "newsletters" format, but rather as a client-by-client basis. Upon request, the user may be removed from the list of customers to be notified of new products, services, and specials. However, for quality of service reasons, all clients will be notified of any major updates related to the A-Nett systems.

VII. Service Announcements

On rare occasions, it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. If, for instance, our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, our customers will be notified at the earliest possible time. These Service Announcements will be sent to all customers accessing the A-Nett servers/services.

VIII. Legal Disclaimer

Although every effort to preserve a clients privacy is made, A-Nett may be required to disclose personal information for legal purposes. Such cases might occur if a good-faith belief that such action is necessary, or as required to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order, or legal process served on A-Nett. In such instances, The Client will be notified such has occurred as soon as the order is served to A-Nett.

IX. Maintenance Of Information

The information provided to A-Nett is saved indefinitely. It may be stored in multiple databases, directly or indirectly maintained by A-Nett. A-Nett incorporates the highest standards in security to maintain and protect the confidentiality of the information. While A-Nett cannot guarantee that loss, misuse, or alteration to the data will not occur, we do make every effort to prevent such occurrences. Any other particularly sensitive, such as Credit Card numbers, is handled by our Third Party Vendors.

X. Customer Responsibility

The Client is responsible for the security of The Client's Login and Passwords. This information should be kept in a safe place and not shared with any other users. The Client should always remember to log out of the A-Nett server upon completion of their tasks, to ensure that other users cannot access their personal information. Customers should take this precaution regardless of location and security of the system used to connect.
